Data Deletion Request
Last updated: August 9, 2026
This page explains how you can request deletion of personal data associated with Inkcod applications and services. It is intended to support user rights under privacy laws and platform requirements (including Meta and other OAuth providers) where Inkcod acts as a developer or service provider.
Who can use this process
If you have used an Inkcod application that stores or processes your information—or if you connected a third-party account (such as a social or messaging platform) to an Inkcod Service—you may request deletion of data that Inkcod controls in connection with that use.
How to request deletion
Send a data deletion request to Inkcod using the contact method listed on our Contact page under “Data deletion.” Include enough information for us to locate your data and verify your identity.
Depending on the application, an in-product account or settings option may also allow you to delete certain data or disconnect integrations. Where available, use those controls for the fastest result for data stored only within that product.
Information to include
To help us process your request efficiently, please provide:
- The name of the Inkcod application or service you used
- The email address or username associated with your Inkcod account, if any
- Identifiers from connected platforms if relevant (for example, the platform user ID or the email on the connected account)
- A clear statement that you are requesting deletion of your personal data
- Any additional details that help us distinguish your account (organization name, approximate dates of use, etc.)
Identity and account verification
To protect your information, we may need to verify that you are the account holder or an authorized representative before completing deletion. We may ask you to confirm control of the email address on file, respond from a registered account, or provide reasonable additional verification. If we cannot verify your request, we may be unable to delete data until verification is completed.
What we delete
After verification, we will delete or de-identify personal data that Inkcod stores about you in connection with the identified Service, except where retention is permitted or required as described below. Deletion may include account profile data, application content you submitted, integration tokens, and related logs tied to your account where feasible.
Disconnecting a third-party platform (OAuth) may revoke Inkcod’s access going forward; a separate deletion request may still be needed for data already stored on Inkcod systems.
Processing timeline
We aim to acknowledge requests within a reasonable time and to complete deletion within approximately thirty (30) days, unless a longer period is required by law or the complexity of the request. We will inform you if we need additional time or information.
Exceptions and retained data
We may retain certain information when necessary to:
- Comply with legal obligations, litigation holds, or regulatory requirements
- Maintain security, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms
- Resolve disputes or collect amounts owed, where applicable
- Keep anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you
Backup systems may retain copies for a limited period before they are overwritten according to our backup schedules.
Confirmation
When deletion is complete, we will confirm by email or through the contact channel you used, unless we are legally prevented from doing so or cannot reach you. If we must retain specific data, we will explain the reason where permitted.
Platform-specific notes
If your request relates to data obtained through a platform integration (for example, Facebook, Instagram, or other OAuth providers), you may also manage permissions in that platform’s settings. Inkcod will process valid deletion callbacks or user requests consistent with platform policies and our agreements.
